Speak Freely Internet Telephone
Free Download (version "with Crypto" recommended)
If you want to talk to me securely by using Speak Freely, please do the following:
| 1. | Press Ctrl+K [or select "Options » Create Key" from the Speak Freely menu] |
| | to generate an IDEA key for conversations between yourself and myself. |
| 2 | a. | Paste the key into an email message to me. |
| | | The message may read something like:
|
| | | "Hi! I'd like to talk to you around 21:00 your time tonight with Speak Freely.
I've generated the following key:
NHCG-AJHP-ILJN-DHAI-NFEI-CPKO-PINJ-JIAA (example only)
for this and any future conversations between us.
I'm looking forward to talking with you!" |

| | b. | Use my PGP Public Key (.asc PGP Armored File 3kb) to encrypt the message |
| | | containing the IDEA key. |

| 3. | Paste the key into the IDEA key field of the "Options » Connection" dialogue box |
| | [Ctrl+P] when establishing the connection to my machine |

How to Establish the Connection to my Machine
| 1. | Select "Phonebook » Search..." from the menu and search for |
| | User: on |
| | Server: (lwl.fourmilab.ch) |
| | If I am online the search will yield the following result: |
| | " (Gerhard Schuhmacher)" |
| 2. | Highlight (click on) the search result and then press the Connect button. |
| | This establishes the connection. |
| 3. | Press Ctrl+P [or select "Options » Connection" from the menu] |
| | and paste the generated IDEA key into the IDEA key field of the |
| | Connection Options dialogue box. |

1. Initiate a new SMS message and
2. select entry +278314215001280 from your mobile phone's address book.
3. Write your SMS message and click Send.
